According to an announcement by Rockstar Games, the launch of GTA 6 will take place on November 19, 2026. The game will become available in various regions at 00:00 (midnight) local time.
Information published on the official PlayStation blog indicates that the PS5 version of GTA 6 requires at least 212 GB of free storage space. Users who pre-order the digital version will be able to download the game to their consoles starting November 10. However, this pre-load does not grant early access to the game itself.
An internet speed test conducted in Azerbaijan showed a download speed of 73.57 Mbps. At this speed, transferring 212 GB of data would theoretically take approximately 6 hours and 25 minutes. In real-world conditions, however, this duration could extend to 7–8 hours due to server limitations and network congestion.
It should be noted that the 212 GB figure is the free storage space required by PlayStation for the PS5; it does not necessarily represent the actual size of the game's download file. Therefore, the 6-hour and 25-minute estimate should be viewed as a rough, hypothetical comparison. Pre-loading for the PS5 version of GTA 6 will begin on November 10, and the official launch of the game will take place on November 19.
