In 2023, Azerkosmos exported services worth more than 18 million dollars

Satellite telecommunication services, which are considered a new generation service export, have an important role in the direction of service export diversification. In January-November 2023, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azerkosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth 18 million US dollars to 48 countries of the world. "Azerkosmos" earned 78 percent of its total income from service exports. In November 2023, "Azercosmos" exported services worth 1.8 million US dollars to 44 countries of the world. The top five satellite telecommunication services exports in January-November 2023 are the United Kingdom with 5.2 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 3.7 million US dollars, the UAE with 1.5 million US dollars, 959.4 thousand US dollars Germany and Nigeria with 675.8 thousand US dollars.
