The projects awarded the "Startup" certificate envisage the creation of online platforms, mobile applications, and the production of various devices that provide innovative solutions in the fields of education, catering, ICT, industry.
In January-March 2024, 26 micro and small entrepreneurs applied to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SBA) for the "Startup" certificate. Based on the "Criteria for determining a startup" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision dated January 29, 2021, a decision was made by the Council of Experts to issue a "Startup" certificate to 16 micro and small entrepreneurs. 11 of the business entities that have received certificates are legal entities and 5 are natural persons. 15 of them are micro and 1 is a small business entity.
The projects that have received the "Startup" certificate involve the creation of online platforms, mobile applications, and the production of various devices and devices that provide innovative solutions in the fields of education, catering, ICT, and industry.
In total, 139 micro and small business entities have been awarded the "Startup" certificate.
The "Startup" certificate exempts SME entities from profit and income tax on their income from innovation activities for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt of the certificate.
