India’s First “Vibe-Coding” Startup Raises $15 Million

India’s Rocket.new startup has raised $15 million to expand its operations. Led by Salesforce Ventures, this funding allows the company to stand out from competitors by enabling users to create not just prototypes but fully functional, ready-to-use applications using language instructions.

The platform, which launched its beta version just three months ago, has quickly achieved significant success. Rocket.new has reached over 400,000 users across 180 countries, with more than 10,000 paying subscribers. This rapid growth has already pushed the company’s annual revenue to $4.5 million. Rocket.new CEO Vishal Virani aims to increase this figure to $20–25 million by the end of the year and $60–70 million by June next year.

The newly raised funds will be used to strengthen Rocket.new’s product development and market strategy. To expand operations in its largest market, the United States, the startup will open a new office in Palo Alto and grow its team. This investment is crucial for maintaining the company’s technological advantage and solidifying its position in the international market.

Kartik Gupta, an investor at Salesforce Ventures, noted that Rocket.new “bridges the gap between AI-generated code and turning that code into a real, ready-to-use product.”
