Instagram offers new tools to control fake followers and spam content. With the update, Instagram has strengthened its auto-detection system, which can detect spam in comments, tags, story views, and followers. Users will be able to check whether their posts comply with the community guidelines, and these features will be available in the coming weeks.
Moderation systems will flag fake followers and spam content and allow users to remove this content in bulk. Suspected spam or bot accounts will be filtered and reviewed in a separate review box. Unverified accounts will be automatically deleted after 30 days. In addition, posts flagged as spam will not appear on creator accounts, and users will receive in-app notifications if their posts violate the content policy.
