Instagram is getting a photo editing feature with artificial intelligence

At the Connect event organized by Meta, some information was shared about how artificial intelligence technologies will be integrated into Instagram.

A newly introduced tool called "Restyle" will allow users to redesign their existing photos in different styles and themes powered by artificial intelligence. For example, the user will be able to edit his photo with a "watercolor" effect or in a "magazine collage" style.

In addition, another feature called "background" has been introduced. With this feature, users will be able to quickly change the background of their photos.

Meta noted that content created with these new features will be shared with a special tag indicating to users that it was created by artificial intelligence. This will help users understand that shared content has been edited by AI. Also, Meta introduced the artificial intelligence-supported sticker function to be used on Instagram. This feature will allow users to quickly create custom stickers using texts. It was reported that these artificial intelligence-supported stickers will soon be available to users with an English version.
