The Innovation and Digital Development Agency has released its 2024 report on the progress of digital government. The document highlights the expansion of digital services, user statistics, information exchange between state institutions, and environmental impact.
The "myGov" platform has been significantly improved, now incorporating essential digital documents such as identity cards, birth, death, and marriage certificates, all with legal validity. Citizens can share these documents digitally with relevant authorities. Additionally, the "My Information" section now includes more than 45 types of personal data. The platform also offers new services such as obtaining a criminal record certificate, registering as an individual entrepreneur, accessing a list of electric charging stations, using a pension calculator, and various notary and utility-related services. Key life events have also been digitized, allowing citizens to apply for birth, marriage, and death certificates online.
By 2024, the platform had 964,000 registered users, with 923,000 transactions conducted through the application. The number of active users within 30 days reached 415,000, and 565,000 notifications were sent to citizens. Based on user feedback, the satisfaction rate stood at 97%.
The transition to digital documentation has been fully implemented across government institutions. Over 2,200 entities are now connected to the Digital Document Circulation system, significantly reducing paper usage. The digital exchange of documents has led to a monthly saving of over one million sheets of paper, which translates to the preservation of nearly 2,000 trees annually.
The National Data Exchange system, known as "digital.bridge", has seen a significant increase in transactions. Compared to 2022, the number of transactions grew by 120%, while in comparison to 2023, the increase was 51%. More than 150 information systems and over 70 state institutions are now integrated into the system. This digital data exchange helps prevent the cutting of more than 10,000 trees each year, with a daily transaction volume of 1.5 million.
The "digital.login" unified authentication system has also expanded, now connected to more than 160 information systems. Each month, more than 7 million transactions are processed through the system. Over recent years, the volume of transactions has grown considerably, showing a 380% increase since 2020, a 364% rise since 2021, a 221% boost since 2022, and a 143% increase since 2023. In terms of user growth, the number of active users has risen by 147% since 2020, 82% since 2021, 59% since 2022, and 32% since 2023. The system currently has over 4 million active users.
