The services of the Starlink global satellite communication system have been officially launched in Azerbaijan.
This was shared on the network's "X" account.
It was reported that Starlink's high-speed and low-latency internet service is already available in Azerbaijan. Citizens said that the minimum monthly fee for connecting to this network is 100 AZN, which is why they expect local providers to raise prices.
It should also be noted that the standard Starlink modem for the Internet costs 670 AZN, and the delivery of the device is 50 AZN.
This service provides direct access to the Internet via satellite without a mobile number or optical line.
It should be noted that Starlink is a global satellite network developed by American billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX company. The project aims to provide high-speed broadband internet to any point in the world. Satellite launches are carried out using SpaceX rockets.
Starlink currently serves the United States, Canada, Australia, most of Europe, Latin America, and several countries in Africa.
