Paid subscribers of X will now be able to hide likes, platform X announced. Aimed at increasing privacy, when this feature is activated, the likes section completely disappears from an X Premium user's profile.
X's boss, Elon Musk, has said in the past that endorsements will be secret. Now, according to X, when you turn on the hidden like feature, only you will be able to see your likes on your profile. However, your individual likes will continue to appear on posts. Also, your likes will be hidden from the X APIs.
Note that it is not clear what happens when a User stops paying for X Premium. It all stems from Musk's desire to make the X Premium attractive. For $8 a month, X makes you a Premium subscriber and gives you a blue confirmation badge. Premium users can also earn money from the posts they share if they meet the requirements.
