Robot dogs have been deployed in the capital of Kazakhstan to ensure security during concerts and mass events. These four-legged robots recognize people's faces, record violations and support the police in their 24-hour work.
Robot dogs are on patrol at concerts, festivals and in urban areas. The robots perform several functions at the same time:
Recognize faces in the crowd;
Record violations;
Analyze human behavior to detect potential threats;
Transmit information to the police in real time;
Provide assistance in emergency situations where people cannot reach them.
The main advantage is that the robots work 24 hours a day and do not require the presence of an operator.
Police say that as the number of mass events in the capital increases, the use of robots frees up staff and strengthens control in places with a large flow of people.
Robot dogs have already been successfully used at a number of concerts, and the events have passed without problems. In the future, their use will be expanded – robots will operate not only at concerts and festivals, but also in shopping malls, parks and public spaces, and urban districts.
