Tripledot Studio, co-founded by Akın Babayiğit, acquired Supersonic from Unity for $40 million.

Tripledot Studios, a mobile game company co-founded by Turkish entrepreneur Akın Babayiğit, has announced that it has acquired Tel Aviv-based mobile game publisher Supersonic from Unity for $40 million.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals, the company said. The deal aims to strengthen Tripledot Studios’ publishing operations in the hybrid-casual gaming segment.

Founded in 2019 as part of ironSource and later incorporated into Unity, Supersonic has published more than 150 mobile games to date. The company’s portfolio includes popular games such as Hole It, Unravel Master, and Going Balls. These games have collectively achieved more than 6 billion downloads.

The acquisition is the next major deal for Tripledot Studios, following its acquisition of AppLovin’s game portfolio in 2025 for approximately $800 million. The company said that Supersonic will continue to operate under its own brand and will operate in parallel with Tripledot's Lion Studios publishing brand.

Tripledot believes that the acquisition will expand its capabilities in user acquisition, capital management and data science, as well as give the company access to more advanced software development kits (SDKs) and automation technologies.

Following the acquisition, Supersonic will continue to operate as an independent business unit. The company's headquarters will remain in Tel Aviv and the existing management team will continue to operate.

Igor Bereslavsky, CEO of Supersonic, said that the company's main goal is to help small game studios reach a global audience, and Tripledot's resources will allow it to realize this goal on a larger scale.
