Members of the Azerbaijani game community visited Poland under the organization of Gamepons

With the support of Gamepons company and the support of the Ministry of Culture, a visit of members of the Azerbaijani gaming community to Poland was organized. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held at the offices of CD Projekt Red, Future Games, the author of the game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and "Cyberpunk 2077" in the "The Witcher" series. At the meeting, the director of Future Games School Piotr Matecki presented to the delegation.

He gave detailed information about the working principle, educational strategy and activities of Future Games.

Later, the members of the Azerbaijani delegation, who were visiting the game studio, got acquainted with the works and projects carried out on site. Azerbaijani game designers, game artists and game programmers got acquainted with the work done by their foreign colleagues and held discussions.

The delegation then visited the city of Katowice. "Katowickie Inwestycje S.A." an important meeting was held with This company cooperates with the European Union in the direction of turning the city into a game center in the future, working together with the municipality of Katowice. During the meeting, the potential of the city of Katowice to be developed as the center of the gaming industry in Eastern Europe and the cooperation between Gamepons and 'Katowickie Inwestycje S.A.' issues of mutual cooperation were discussed in detail.

Vusal Karimli, director of Gamepons company, told Tech.az Media about the visit, "The visit to Poland was one of the first steps to open the Azerbaijani gaming ecosystem to Europe. The meetings held during the visit create hope that the game companies established in Azerbaijan on the basis of future cooperation will be able to use the European experience. Several trips to Europe are planned before the end of the year. Our cooperation will be strengthened with each visit.
