More than 400 school and university students participated in the "IDDA CUP - Spring 2024" Olympiad

The "IDDA CUP - Spring 2024" Olympiad was held within the "Technest" Scholarship Program at the initiative of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency. The Olympiad in which more than 400 school and university students took part took place on the campuses of 6 different universities.
In the end, 156 people with high results qualified for the final stage of the Olympiad. In addition, 139 winners of the non-competition Republican Science Olympiads will also participate in the finals of "IDDA CUP - Spring 2024".
The main goal of the competition is to form algorithmic thinking skills among pupils and students, to prepare Azerbaijani school and student teams for international programming competitions, and to increase the experience of their team leaders. At the same time, one of the main goals is to turn Azerbaijan's higher education institutions into places where international programming camps are held and to invite internationally recognized trainers to Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the "IDDA CUP - Spring 2024" Olympiad is held within the framework of the special preparation program for the international Olympiads of the "Technest" scholarship program implemented by IRIA. The program provides a systematic approach to preparation for international competitions in programming, informatics and algorithmic thinking.
