Neuralink chips have been tested on humans

Elon Max's startup Neuralink has started testing on humans. Elon Musk shared information about this on his X account. "Preliminary results show promising detection of neuronal spikes," X wrote in his account.
Explaining that Neuralink's first device is called 'Telepathy', Musk added that the chip implanted patient is recovering. The company says it aims to create solutions to complex neurological problems by connecting the human brain with a computer.
Neuralink announced in May 2023 that it had received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to begin human trials of its brain chip project.
Previously tested on monkeys, the chips successfully interpreted the signals in the brain and transmitted them to the devices.
