Pichai has mentioned that 2025 will bring many innovations in Google Search. For example, a new AI system called "Project Astra" is being developed, which will analyze live images through a user's camera or screen and answer questions based on what it sees.
Additionally, a program called "Gemini Deep Research" is in development, which will automate research tasks that users typically perform manually. People used to spend long hours searching on Google for information, but this program will handle the research on behalf of the user.
Google is also working on making its interaction with users more engaging and interactive. This means that users will be able to ask more follow-up questions and receive more precise answers.
However, in the initial stages, Google's AI features did produce some errors. For instance, the system offered strange and incorrect suggestions, such as recommending eating rocks or applying glue to pizza. Google acknowledged these mistakes and continues to improve the system.
