OpenAI has acquired Rockset, an interactive big data analytics platform

OpenAI said Rockset allows developers to "use data more efficiently" and index in real-time. Rockset's "technology" will be integrated into the company's products. Rockset CEO Venkat Venkataramani expects the acquired project's team to join OpenAI to help solve problems faced by AI services everywhere. ChatGPT - thanks to its ability to quickly receive and analyze data sets - will provide more accurate answers. Rockset was founded in 2016 by former Facebook development engineers Venkataramani and Tudor Bosman, as well as database architect Druba Borthakur. Before the deal with OpenAI, the startup raised $117 million from Icon Ventures, Sequoia, Greylock and other investors.
