Oracle cloud service offers xAI’s Grok 3 artificial intelligence model to companies

Oracle announced that its cloud services division is collaborating with Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI to offer the latest AI model, Grok 3, to business customers.

The Grok 3 model was launched in February and aims to compete with the latest AI models from DeepSeek and OpenAI. Elon Musk has made the model available to paying subscribers on his X social media platform, as well as through xAI.

Karan Batta, Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, told Reuters that Oracle will provide the Grok 3 model from its data centers to corporate users, ensuring that businesses’ data remains protected under Oracle’s security standards.

Oracle also offers models from Meta, French startup Mistral, and Cohere on its cloud service. This is part of Oracle’s broader strategy to provide businesses with a wide range of popular AI models that can be easily integrated into corporate software.

Batta added, “Our goal is to offer a variety of AI models—we don’t have our own. This is our current strategy, and we want to be the platform that offers them all.”

This collaboration will allow Oracle to deliver AI capabilities to corporate customers in a more convenient and secure way.
