Proton has launched its spreadsheet tool Proton Sheets. The tool integrates with its cloud service Proton Drive and is free for all users with a Proton account.
The main advantage of the service is "end-to-end" encryption. This means that no party, not even Proton itself, can access the spreadsheets and the data in them. This feature distinguishes Proton Sheets from many office programs that store or process data openly.
