"4SI Academy" implemented with the cooperation of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Fund (TIF) under the Ministry of Science and Education, the "Outstanding Achievement Award 2024" competition founded by the US company "Coursera" The winner of the "Artificial Intelligence Innovation" category was chosen. "4SI Academy" is presented by 42 countries that are partners of "Coursera" for actively promoting the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the field of artificial intelligence, training qualified personnel in the labor market, developing digital skills, increasing knowledge in the field of advanced technologies, and applying innovative solutions. It was selected from more than 180 projects and was awarded the prize.
The award was presented to Fariz Jafarov, executive director of 4SIM, by Stanford University professor Andrew Yin, co-founder and chairman of Coursera, within the framework of the "Coursera Network Conference" held on September 17 in Las Vegas, USA. F. Jafarov made a presentation about "4SI Academy" at the conference and shared the success story of the project with the participants.
It was stated that the purpose of "4SI Academy" is to support the development of digital skills in the country, increase knowledge in the field of advanced technologies and training of qualified personnel in the labor market. Within the framework of the project, 10,000 people throughout the country benefited from the online education platform "Coursera" free of charge within 1 year. Users attended more than 32,000 hours of video lectures on 4SI technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, data analytics, blockchain and cloud technologies, programming languages, as well as leadership, communication, business, management and other areas. Those who successfully completed the training received more than 4,000 international certificates in total. It is planned to continue the project as a "National Program". At this stage, 200,000 citizens will be given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of 4th Industrial Revolution technologies.
