"AzerTelecom" and "Telecom Armenia" signed an agreement on internet traffic transit

"AzerTelecom" and "Telecom Armenia" companies have signed bilateral agreements on providing Armenia with international Internet connectivity via Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the agreement, "AzerTelecom", the leading backbone Internet operator in the region, will expand the number and geography of countries for the supply of international Internet traffic, as well as provide transit of Internet traffic in the direction of Armenia using its own infrastructure.

Such agreements are aimed at diversifying connection routes in the region, further increasing the reliability of telecommunications networks and developing cooperation in the field of telecommunications.
