"Bebras" Informatics and Algorithmic thinking competition was held for students with the support of the country's leading corporate financial institution "PASHA Bank".
International "Bebras" Informatics and Algorithmic competition is a project aimed at evaluating students' algorithmic and logical thinking without requiring programming knowledge. The competition enables students to develop their knowledge and skills in logic and mathematics along with informatics and to have a healthy competition. During the online competition, students of grades 2-10 competed in 40 minutes to find solutions to various tasks in a fun way according to their age group.
270 schools have registered to participate in the "Bebras" competition organized by the "OzünOyren" educational platform. This list included 61 cities and districts, including Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Guba, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Goygol, Lerik, Jalilabad, Lankaran, Ismayilli and other regions.
Students with the highest scores in the competition will be invited to the final stage in 2024.
It should be noted that the "Bebras" competition started in 2004 and hundreds of thousands of students from more than 70 countries of the world participate in this competition every year. Azerbaijan actively participated in this competition in 2013-2016.
