On July 16, the "Demo Day" event was held at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of the Azerbaijan-French University. At the event, six startup teams that successfully completed the Ignite incubation program ("Toyda", "Artopia", "Gutu", "Cupzz", "Youngh" and "Goalplus") presented their innovative ideas and initial products to the jury members, potential investors and partners. .
After finishing their presentations, the startups answered the questions of the jury members. Jury members evaluated the startups based on presentations and Q&A and determined two winners.
At the end of the event, the names of the winning startups were announced. "Goalplus" took the first place, and "Toyda" took the second place. Both start-ups received an initial seed investment of 5,000 manats.
At the event, UFAZ graduate Omar Nuruzadeh shared with the guests and participants his path and success story with the startup "Nexus Lab", which he is the co-founder and director of.
It should be noted that the "Ignite" incubation program is a three-month program implemented by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of the Azerbaijan-French University and intended for startups that want to rise from the idea stage to the minimum viable product stage.
