"Tamiz Shahar" has migrated its IT systems to the "Government Cloud".

The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of Azerbaijan “On the establishment of the “Government Cloud” (G-cloud) and measures in the field of providing “cloud” services” continues.

Within the framework of the implementation of the decree, another state institution - “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC has transferred its information systems and resources to the “Government Cloud”. The institution has placed its IT systems in the Baku Main Data Center owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC. “AzInTelecom” has provided the institution with Virtual server – IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and Backup – BaaS (Backup-as-a-Service) services. With this, the institution has achieved high availability of critical systems.

The “Government Cloud” project is being implemented by “AzInTelecom” LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies. Within the framework of the project, full or partial migration of IT systems of state institutions to data centers owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC is being carried out. As a result of the migration, IT expenses of institutions are reduced, information systems are located throughout the country – in a single center maintained and monitored 24/7.

“AzInTelecom” LLC is the first organization in the South Caucasus region to obtain the “TIER III” certificate, which sets international standards for “cloud” services.
