Applications for the "Entrepreneurship World Cup 2024" (EWC) are now open!
The "Entrepreneurship World Cup 2024" (EWC - Entrepreneurship World Cup) competition will provide an opportunity for the next generation of entrepreneurs from 200 countries to present their startups at the international level. The winner will receive a prize fund of USD 1 million, additional in-kind support and investment opportunities.
It is open to creative and innovative entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan with startups at any stage (idea, early stage or development stage). We invite entrepreneurs to register on https://lnkd.in/dmA9gXS by July 1!
Participation in the competition includes the following stages:
1) “EWC Accelerates” (July 2024) - applying entrepreneurs get access to free virtual training resources through an online platform.
2) "EWC Qualifiers" (July-August 2024) - All applications, both live and virtual, are initially in the national competition (EWC Azerbaijan National Finals)
3) “Bootcamp + Group Stage” (September-October 2024) - The top 250 projects selected at the national and regional level participate in the “EWC Virtual Bootcamp” and compete to qualify for the EWC 2024 global finals.
4) "EWC Global Final" (December 2024) - The best 100 projects qualify for the global final to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Entrepreneurs receive an intensive bootcamp, mentorship, access to a global network, as well as cash prizes and business opportunities. The winners are awarded a cash prize of USD 1 million and business opportunities.
5) "Post-EWC support" - Finalists are invited to "GEN Starters Club" and gain new opportunities.
The "World Entrepreneurship Cup", which started in 2019, has so far gathered 370 thousand entrepreneurs and startups from 200 countries and provided more than 4 million US dollars in prize money, 256 million US dollars worth of bonuses and free support services. "World Entrepreneurship Cup", as the largest support program, annually provides entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to realize their initiatives and encourages the growth of startups at all stages.
"GEN Azerbaijan", as the official organizer of the "World Entrepreneurship Cup" in Azerbaijan, fulfills the mission of supporting entrepreneurs to start a new business or develop an existing business throughout the country. As part of the "GEN Global" family, the main goal of "GEN Azerbaijan" is to expand economic opportunities for individuals and communities by supporting the development of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our country.
