New achievement in Turkish space technologies: Fergani Uzay sends its first satellite into orbit

Turkey's leading space technology company Fergani Uzay has successfully sent its first satellite FGN-100-d1 into space with SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. This historic event took place as part of the Transporter-12 mission from the US Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Transporter-12 mission and satellites
During the mission, 131 different cargoes were transported into space - from small cube satellites to micro satellites and orbit transfer vehicles. Along with the first satellite of "Fergani Uzay", 4 satellites of another well-known Turkish company Plan-S were also launched into orbit.

Fergani Uzay and future goals
Selçuk Bayraktar, the head of Fergani Uzay and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baykar, evaluated this success as a transition to a new era in Turkey's space sector. Bayraktar said that Fergani Space aims to play an important role in the field of technology with its projects aimed at establishing a global positioning system in the future.

Turkey's space ecosystem is expanding
Turkey's Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kaçır highly appreciated this achievement. He said that these successes of Fergani Space and Plan-S will further advance space technologies within the framework of the country's National Space Program. The minister added that Turkey's space ecosystem is getting stronger every passing day.

The power of the National Technology Movement
The Turkish Space Agency (TUA) also highly appreciated this event and said that Fergani Space's first satellite will provide global solutions in the field of communication and geolocation and will pioneer the development of new technologies. Plan-S, on the other hand, is expanding its activities in the field of space by providing world-class solutions in IoT and 6G communication technologies.

This success once again proves Turkey's strengthening position in space technologies and how successful the National Technology Movement strategy is.
