Some programs have been removed from Windows 11

Microsoft continues to reduce the number of pre-installed applications for Windows 11. With the latest update, the Windows Maps and Movies & TV apps will no longer be automatically installed on the operating system. This change will affect users who install Windows 11 on new devices, but these apps will not be removed for users upgrading from older versions.

While Microsoft hasn't revealed why it's making this change, it's likely that it's meant to help reduce the amount of space occupied by the operating system by infrequently used apps. This change may help simplify the experience for new users.

Given that the Windows Maps and Movies & TV apps don't take up much space, they won't have a huge impact on hardware requirements. Microsoft says that these apps are still available for free in the Microsoft Store, so users can download them after they are installed.
