Spotify has announced massive layoffs for the third time this year, according to CEO Daniel Ekin. Global economic uncertainty and the need to cut costs have prompted the company to make this decision. At least 1,500 jobs will be cut, about 17 percent of the company's 9,250 employees. Daniel Ek said in his statement that the global economic uncertainty continues and they have to cut costs.
The company, which parted ways with 600 workers in January and another 200 a few months later, will now carry out its biggest mass layoff.
