Users worldwide have reported widespread issues with the Starlink satellite internet service. At its peak, Downdetector recorded nearly 63,000 complaints, dropping to around 34,500 by 23:02 Moscow time. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), users reported problems across multiple regions.
Starlink confirmed the technical disruption and stated that it is working to resolve the issue but did not provide a specific timeline for when full service will be restored. Technology news outlet The Verge noted that while this is not the first outage for Starlink, such incidents are rare.
Starlink, owned by SpaceX, is a satellite internet system that began testing in 2020. As of June 2025, the company operates over 7,800 satellites in orbit.
In July 2025, Starlink partnered with T-Mobile to launch the T-Satellite service in the U.S., allowing users to send text messages in “dead zones” where there is no cellular coverage.
Further updates on the situation will be provided as they become available.
