Taylor Swift's concert set off earthquake detectors

According to the British Geological Survey (BGS), fans at Taylor Swift's Scottish concerts last weekend danced so hard they set off earthquake detectors.

During three concerts at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, seismic activity was recorded up to six kilometers away, with some of the most popular songs causing increased activity each night.

According to BGS, at the concert, the Swifties delivered enough power to charge 6,000 car batteries with their dancing and feet. This is about 80 kilowatts.

Swift's 15 shows in the UK are predicted to boost the UK economy by around £1 billion, with fans spending not only on tickets but also on accommodation, travel and pre-show parties.
