Tesla is working on a wireless electric car charger

Tesla has confirmed that it is working on a wireless electric car charger. This information was shared by the company's head of design, Franz von Holzhausen, in a video review of Cybertruck. The wireless charging feature will allow car owners to charge their cars without using a charging cable. This concept, known as inductive charging, allows electrical energy to be transferred through a magnetic field.

Franz von Holzhausen said. This development shows Tesla's ability to offer wireless charging functionality for its electric vehicles.

At an event in March, Tesla shared a photo of a Model S that appeared to be wirelessly charging in a garage. However, until then, the company has not made an official statement on this matter.

Wireless charging systems will allow Tesla owners to charge their cars using a fixed platform in their garage, eliminating the need to plug the cars directly into outlets. Wireless charging can offer users a more practical solution by making the charging process smoother. However, the installation of these systems and the compatibility of the vehicle are important factors.
