The implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 718, “On the establishment of the Government Cloud (G-Cloud) and the provision of cloud services”, is ongoing.
In accordance with the requirements of the Decree, the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration has migrated its IT systems to the Government Cloud. The Administration has partially placed its information systems and resources in the Baku Main Data Center owned by AzInTelecom LLC.
AzInTelecom has provided the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration with a Virtual Server – IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) solution.
As a result, the institution has obtained a more resilient and accessible IT infrastructure for its critical systems.
About the Government Cloud
The Government Cloud project is implemented by AzInTelecom LLC, part of AZCON Holding. Within the framework of the project, the IT systems of state institutions are fully or partially migrated to the Baku Main and Yevlakh Backup Data Centers. The migration reduces IT costs for institutions and ensures that information systems are stored within the country in a centralized manner. It also enables enhanced information security and round-the-clock (24/7) monitoring services.
