The Ministry of Culture, the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA) and the Creative Center will jointly organize the “Creative Cinema Incubation Program” aimed at developing creative potential in the field of cinema in the country.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the “Azerbaijani Culture – 2040” Concept and the “Action Plan for the Development of the Cinematography Sector (2026–2027)” of the Ministry of Culture.
The main goal of the program is to support creative talents, develop innovative ideas, attract young people to the film industry and stimulate the creation of new business entities in the field.
The program, intended for young people studying in the fields of culture, art, design, cinema, technology and creative industries, as well as working in these areas, will consist of three stages.
During the master class stage, participants will meet with local and international experts on topics such as attracting investments, transforming an idea into a business model, applying artificial intelligence in cinema, cinema marketing and scriptwriting.
The teams formed during the Ideaton – Filmathon stage will prepare projects in the areas of short films up to 3 minutes long, film poster design, animation using artificial intelligence, scriptwriting, as well as mobile applications and innovative services.
As part of the incubation program, the selected teams will receive mentorship, specialized training, office support and opportunities to collaborate with film industry representatives, and the projects prepared will be demonstrated at the “Presentation Day” to be held at the end of the program.
