Through the next such service provided by the State Migration Service, foreigners and stateless persons carry out the registration process at their location in the Republic of Azerbaijan in a fully digital form. Using this service, foreigners can register at their location online without going to any physical location upon their arrival in the country.
For registration, a foreigner must apply by entering the electronic portal of the State Migration Service within 15 days (within 30 days for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan) of his arrival in the country. It should be noted that foreigners or stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 15 days (citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for more than 30 days) must be registered at their place of residence.
 If a foreigner or a stateless person changes his place of residence, he must be registered at his new place within 5 working days from the time of his arrival at his new place, in accordance with Articles 21.2-21.5 of the Migration Code. If a foreigner or a stateless person stays temporarily in another apartment (residential area) belonging to the owner of the apartment (residential area) in which he was registered, re-registration is not required.
