The Turkish game startup Cypher Games received an investment of 10 million dollars

Istanbul-based Cypher Games received $10 million in an initial investment round led by Raine Group. The investment round also included Play Ventures, 500 Emerging Europe, Riccardo Zacconi, founder of King, the creator of Candy Crush, Humam Sakhnini, former vice chairman of the board of Activision Blizzard and former chairman of the board of King, Akin Babayiğit, founder of Tripledot Studios and Barry Cottle, former CEO of Light & Wonder, was also present.
Cypher Games plans to use this investment to double its team and prepare for the global launch of its first match-3 game, which it plans to launch in the first half of 2025. Anil Şimşek, co-founder and CEO of Cypher Games, said, “For the past two years, we have focused on identifying the right product and developing it in the best possible way. Now with this investment, we will speed up our access to the global market," he said.
Şimşek also emphasized that they strongly believe in the growth potential of the mobile game sector.
