It was announced that with the launch of BakuBus in Ganja, the fare on city buses will be paid through the “CityCard” cashless payment system.
“CityCards” are already on sale at “Azerpocht” branches. It is possible to top up the card balance through “eManat” and “MPay” terminals, as well as through the “CityCard” mobile application.
Through the mobile application, users can check the balance, buy tickets, view travel history, and make quick payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay. There is also the possibility of using QR tickets and refunding unused trips.
The new system will be implemented on all buses operating in Ganja and is supported by Payriff.
