The startup, which collaborates with Moka United and has received investment from Caucasus Ventures, has expanded its operational reach to the Gulf countries. The platform, which enables Turkish expatriates to send money quickly and affordably to their home countries, has now activated direct money transfer services to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Previously, Turan offered transfer services to Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and European countries. With this new expansion, the startup strengthens financial integration in the Middle East. This innovation, particularly aimed at Turkish workers, students, and entrepreneurs in the region, digitizes money transfers from Turkey to these countries and significantly reduces costs.
Özgür Bayraktar, the founder of the company, stated that the goal is to create a financial bridge between the Gulf countries and the Turkish world, ensuring that users can conduct transactions conveniently regardless of their location. All electronic money operations are carried out in compliance with regulations through Moka United Ödeme Hizmetleri ve Elektronik Para A.Ş.
