Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the XII summit of the Turkic States Organization that many countries are faced with cyberattacks, a new threat that has no borders.
The President proposed the creation of a Cyber Security Council within the organization. The Council will coordinate the activities of member states, mobilize enhanced efforts, as well as develop digital security and strengthen ties in this area.
Tokayev noted that the cybersecurity conference held in Almaty in September reaffirmed the importance of this cooperation. He also previously proposed the creation of a Digital Innovation Center.
According to the President, by taking joint steps, Turkic states will more effectively combat both terrorism and digital threats.
