Local mobile game studio Grand Games raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Balderton Capital. Bek Ventures (formerly Earlybird Digital East), Laton Ventures, and Mert Gür also participated in the round.
Founded in 2024, Grand Games entered the top 1% of global player acquisition and revenue metrics with its games Car Match and Magic Sort!. The startup developed its games with a team of 14 in 10 months.
The Istanbul-based game studio plans to establish studios that will create new game genres with the investment and publish its games worldwide. The startup aims to create a new unicorn from Turkey.
