Azintelecom LLC has begun the construction of two large new data centers this year to meet the growing demand for digitalization. The company’s Commercial Director, Farrukh Farajullayev, announced the project during his speech at the Fintech Forum 2025.
Farajullayev stated that these facilities will be among the largest data centers in the region. One of the projects will be located in the Absheron district, with completion expected in 2027. The second data center is planned to be built in Hajigabul.
Overall, construction and installation work for both centers is expected to be completed by 2030. Azintelecom’s initiative is set to play a key role in expanding Azerbaijan’s digital infrastructure and data storage capabilities.
