Uzbek startups receive $6 million in investment

Two Uzbek-based startups Humanola and CoRun.ai have received a total of $6 million in investment in the United States. This was reported by Hikmatilla Ubaydullayev, Deputy Head of the Department of Financial Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan. Humanola received $2.5 million in investment to develop its startup operating in the field of robotics. Link Ventures, Bad Ideas Fund, Georgia Tech Fund and Express24, as well as Numeo AI founder Akmal Payziyev, participated in the investment round. The startup is developing solutions for remote control of humanoid robots. This technology can be applied in industry, medicine, logistics and high-risk work. Humanola plans to expand its team, accelerate the development of the platform and expand its solution to new areas. Ubaydullayev said that competition in this field is very high, and that is why it is of particular importance that such a project with Uzbek roots attracts attention in the United States. Another startup, CoRun.ai, attracted $3.5 million in investment. The startup's value after this round is estimated at $17.5 million. According to co-founder Nodir Ruzmatov, the funds will be used to increase the safety of artificial intelligence, optimize costs, improve analytics and forecasting systems, as well as create AI-based insurance models. The CoRun.ai platform was developed by Uzbek engineers in Germany and is currently being developed for the US market. Ruzmatov characterized the startup's mission as follows: "We turn fleet data into measurable financial results. We direct operational data into safer solutions, smart efficiency and high profitability." Ubaydullayev said that it is important for Uzbek startups to enter the international arena more often and introduce them to investors. According to him, startups who gain access to Silicon Valley gain not only funds, but also "experience, connections and a new way of thinking."
