Uzum Bank plans to increase its authorized capital to 41 million dollars in the near future. This decision was published on the Unified Corporate Information Portal of Uzbekistan.
The bank plans to issue 150 million ordinary shares through closed subscription. The nominal value of one share is 0.08 dollars (1000 sums).
As of October 25, 2024, the authorized capital of Uzum Bank is 28.7 million dollars (350 billion sums). The net profit of the bank for the third quarter was 2.7 million dollars (32.4 billion sums). In April 2023, amendments were adopted in Uzbekistan, which provide for the gradual increase of the authorized capital of banks. This indicator is required to reach 41 million dollars (500 billion sums) by the beginning of 2025.
The issuance of securities by Uzum Bank will allow to fulfill this requirement.
