Social network X has announced new usage limits for accounts without a Premium subscription. The company said the move will help reduce technical issues and server load on the platform.
Under the new rules, unverified users will be able to post a maximum of 50 posts and send 500 private messages per day. In addition, the number of replies is limited to 200 per day, and the number of new follows is limited to 400.
The company also said that additional limits are being applied to shares and replies made within a short period of time. However, the details of these restrictions were not disclosed.
The rules also cover activities from all devices and API requests from third-party applications. If the user exceeds the specified limit, the system will display an error message.
Note that the paid Premium subscription on the X platform was launched in November 2022. The subscription fee starts at $ 3 per month.
