Xiaomi introduces headphones that don't block the ear canal

Xiaomi has introduced its first clip-on wireless headphones in China that do not block the ear canal. The company first announced the device in May 2026, and now the product has been officially launched.

The new model is attached to the ear like a clip and does not completely cover the ear canal. Xiaomi announced that it uses titanium wire technology with a “memory effect” in the device. Each earbud weighs only 5.5 grams.

The headphones are equipped with 11 mm dynamic drivers and support the LHDC 5.0 codec for high-quality sound transmission. The device also has three microphones and a bone conduction sensor for more accurate sound transmission.

The model has IP57 water and dust protection. According to Xiaomi, the headphones can work up to 9 hours on a single charge, and up to 38 hours in total with the power box.

The company has added support for Apple's Find My function for iOS users. In addition, the device also offers real-time AI translation in 21 languages and automatic content summary based on XiaoAI.

The price of the headphones is set at 849 yuan. In the initial sales phase, the product is offered for 799 yuan. The model will be available in black, white, gold and pink colors.
