A 25 million dollar SABAH.fund venture fund was established in Azerbaijan.

SABAH.HUB Innovation Center is proud to announce the establishment of "SABAH.fund", a venture capital fund worth 25 million dollars. The fund, as the first venture capital fund covering the Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, has become the largest venture capital fund in Azerbaijan by attracting 11 million dollars in the first close.
The main partners of "SABAH.fund" are Rahim Bayramli and Abbas Kazmi, and its investors include "Moonwake Investment", SOCAR, "Integrity Group", Azerbaijan Investment Company and other companies. SABAH.fund, as a cross-border venture capital fund, aims to support SABAH.HUB Innovation Center's "Techplomacy" initiative. The fund aims to drive technological advancements in key areas and fast-growing regions by supporting innovative entrepreneurs.
According to the fund's investment strategy, the first-class areas are "FinTech", "CleanTech" and "EdTech". Secondary fields are digital health, AgriTech, PropTech and LogisticsTech. SABAH.fund will invest in the most promising and innovative technology startups in the region at the pre-seed and seed stages.
The management of the fund is carried out by Rahim Bayramli and Abbas Kazmi, who have extensive experience. Rahim Bayramli is the executive director of SABAH.HUB Innovation Center. A graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE), he previously worked as a strategic consultant at McKinsey and co-founded several successful projects such as Push30 and the LANDAU School. Abbas Kazmi is an entrepreneur and venture capital investor awarded with prestigious awards such as "Forbes 30 Under 30", "Maserati 100". He is also a graduate of Oxford University and worked as an Entrepreneurship Expert at Saïd Business School.
Rahim Bayramli shared his thoughts on the future of the fund: "SABAH.fund is committed to supporting companies with global ambitions. Our goal is to build innovation bridges for technology and education in the Caucasus, Central Asia and MENA regions." Abbas Kazmi noted that: "SABAH.fund aims to achieve high financial returns for investors and to cause significant historical changes."
