Azerbaijani start-up, executive director of "Cybersign" LLC Elvin Akhundov has developed a cyber awareness and phishing simulation portal for the first time in the country.
According to E. Akhundov, who recently received a "Startup" certificate from the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) for the project, according to the information given to "vergiler.az", those who have used such portals in Azerbaijan until now have benefited from alternative platforms provided by foreign countries. The platform presented by "Cybersign" LLC was developed by Azerbaijani specialists in the Azerbaijani language.
The platform is mainly intended for the corporate sector. Through the portal, companies can pass their training: "We mainly act in the format of cyber security. Video trainings on 24 topics about cyber security are conducted, and after the training, employees are checked and certified. It is known that today cyber attacks have increased. Phishing attacks are carried out by phone calls or are done, they trick people into obtaining their personal information. We prepare them in the form of phishing that looks like real life. When we have a corporate contract with a company, we send real-like phishing after training and measure the cyber security index of employees and the company. This measurement is carried out by the company itself. With this, they identify weak points where, how should employees protect themselves in case of cyber-attacks".
E. Akhundov said that in addition to cyber security awareness training, automated phishing campaigns are conducted through the portal, user development is monitored, the recruitment process is automated, a rating system is created for users, certification is conducted, phishing incidents are responded to, and training tests are conducted.
The startup added that in the near future it is planned to present this platform to the countries of the world and turn it into an international platform. The platform has already been developed in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages, and it is planned to be developed in Arabic and Spanish soon. It is planned to "pentest" companies on the platform, that is, to eliminate gaps against possible attacks: "Many countries of the world have this platform. Some platforms have LMS, but no phishing simulation, but our platform has both of them. Our platform is more extensive than foreign platforms. trainings are available. Cyber security is prepared according to the culture of each country. We have also prepared it according to the culture of our country and have taken into account the possible real phishing. We prepare such phishing in Azerbaijan that they are completely convincing and employees can get used to it as a real situation. Our portal is constantly updated so that to be able to meet the requirements of the modern era".
