Alibaba has released a new artificial intelligence (AI) platform called Qoder for programmers. This platform helps programmers write and edit code more efficiently.
Main modes of Qoder:
- Chat Mode: In this mode, you can interact with the AI. It can create initial drafts of your program, and you can later request changes as needed.
- Quest Mode (Agent Mode): In this mode, the AI works independently. It navigates the codebase on its own, completes tasks, and only asks for help when it encounters difficulties. The AI records completed tasks in a “to-do” list and shows each step to the user.
- Repo Wiki Mode: This mode helps users better understand an existing project’s codebase. The AI visually displays the structure of the program.
Qoder automatically selects AI models depending on the complexity of the task. There are “premium” and “basic” versions of the models.
Currently, Qoder is in beta and completely free. In a few weeks, a trial period will begin, during which the number of AI queries will be limited. Prices for paid plans will be announced later.
