All local executive authorities joined the Digital Document Circulation

Another important step has been taken within the framework of transition to "paperless government".
Since May 13, 2024, all local executive authorities have been integrated into the Digital Document Circulation subsystem. Document exchange in 85 local executive authorities will be carried out in real time and in a secure form via the subsystem. This integration aims to simplify administrative processes and increase operational efficiency in local executive authorities.
It should be noted that the Digital Document Circulation subsystem was developed and put into operation by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 1, 2023, No. 2279. To date, more than 1100 institutions have been integrated into the subsystem, including state bodies and subordinate sub-institutions. In total, more than 500,000 documents circulate between institutions using the Digital Document Circulation subsystem. In addition to increasing the efficiency of document exchanges, the number of paper usage is also minimized.
