An iPad signed by Apple founder Steve Jobs has been put up for auction.
The iPad signed by Jobs in 2011 is expected to sell for a record price. The tablet was gifted by Jobs to Hawaiian dentist Frank H. Sayre in exchange for dental treatment in 2010. But when Sayre sent Jobs a check to pay for the tablet, Jobs declined the offer and sent the iPad as a personal gift.
The highest bid so far at the auction was $11,794, and the price is expected to rise further in the auction, which ends on September 23. The winner will also receive an autographed iPad, along with its original box and other accessories.
