Andy Byron, CEO of the data operations company Astronomer, has stepped down from his position following a scandal that surfaced on social media. The incident dealt a major blow to the company’s reputation, prompting the board to place Byron on leave and ultimately persuade him to resign.
Currently, the company’s co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Pete DeJoy, is serving as interim CEO.
