Within the framework of the 4SI Academy, another 1,000 people started 6-week trainings on Coursera from today. Thus, since the beginning of the project (September 15), 3,000 people have benefited from it.
In the "4SI Academy" project, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Fund (TIF) under the Ministry of Science and Education, and the US company "Coursera" on the "Coursera" online educational platform within the framework of 4 Nearly 800 courses are offered in a total of 89 sub-categories, including artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, blockchain and cloud technologies, as well as leadership, communication and English skills, which are components of the 2nd industrial revolution.
So far, about 7,000 people have registered to use the platform. 72% of them are employed and 28% are unemployed. The oldest applicant is 73 years old, and the youngest is 9 years old. Among those registered, 188 are members of the martyr's family, and 116 are veterans. As for the gender composition of the participants, 51% of them are women.
Among the applicants, the largest group are students (University of Economics, BSU and ASNSU). Then come those who work in the banking and public sector.
The priority goal of the "4SI Academy" project is to develop digital skills in the country. Within the framework of the project, about 10,000 people are expected to benefit from the training programs provided by the world's prestigious universities and companies on "Coursera", the leading educational platform of the United States, within 1 year. Currently, there are 125,000 Azerbaijani users on the Coursera platform, which has 129 million online users.
